Northern Beaches Council is commencing the upgrades to North Narrabeen Surf Club in early June.
The club is a valued community hub and has been home to life savers since 1912 and the North Narrabeen Boardriders Club (NNBC) since 1964.
The proposed works will improve accessibility and enhance facilities for members and the community. Planned works include a new 35 metre squared meeting space for the NNBC, upgraded interiors, balcony and BBQ area.
The works are proposed between early June and summer 2026 (weather permitting), though access to the public amenities, gym, board riders and SLSC facilities and part of the first-floor deck will remain open.
The café and bar may be closed for part of the works, which the club will communicate to the community through their socials.
The project is funded through a combination of council’s Capital Renewal funds and the NSW Government’s Office of Sport. For more information about this project visit Council’s Your Say page.
