Who doesn’t love a freshly baked slice or a delicious scone topped with homemade jam? The Country Women’s Association are renowned for the best baking around and to get a ‘slice’ of the action, you’d better head to Manly on Saturday 2 May!

Manly Country Women’s Association (CWA) would love to see you at their Mother’s Day stall from 10am until 2pm (outside Chemist Warehouse on The Corso). It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up a gift for Mother’s Day too.

“We will be selling, jams, condiments, craft goods, scones, biscuits, slices, tea towels and many other goods,” says Anita Curley, Manly CWA’s publicity officer. “All money raised goes directly to charity and we hope to raise as much money as possible.”

The CWA is the largest women’s organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children and has been in Manly for 102 years.
The Manly CWA meets once a month at the rear of St Matthew’s Church, Manly, The Corso and is always looking for new members! Visit the Facebook page: Country Women’s Association- Manly. https://www.facebook.com/CWAmanlybranch
