Support enhancements in community safety and wellbeing on the Northern Beaches.
Northern Beaches Council is currently seeking expressions of interest for community representatives to serve on the Community Safety Advisory Committee.
The committee monitors the implementation of the Community Safety Plan and informs its development.
The council also seeks the guidance of the committee on issues relating to the development of strategies and services aimed at improving community safety.
Positions are ongoing for a period of three years.
The committee includes five community members, with up to one member per ward (Curl Curl, Frenchs Forest, Manly, Narrabeen and Pittwater Wards).
Community members interested in representing a broad range of community views across the Northern Beaches are invited to nominate for membership on the committee.
The committee meets quarterly. The Terms of Reference, Agendas and Minutes provide information on the purpose, function and recent activity of this group.
Expressions of interest close Sunday 19 July, 11.59pm.
