From Sunday 12 May, North Sydney Council will be asking everyone in the local community to ‘Have your say on our next ten years’ to help inform a new Community Strategic Plan for 2025- 2035.

Council will be seeking community feedback to explore the shared challenges and opportunities that local and global trends are presenting for North Sydney, including increasing population and changing demographics.

The local community will be asked to consider how these and other trends will impact all aspects of North Sydney’s future, including Culture and Creativity, Economic Development, Environment, Housing, Integrated Transport, Open Space and Recreation, and Social Inclusion.

Council will initially be seeking feedback on five Discussion Papers (Creativity and Culture, Economic Development, Integrated Transport, Open Space and Recreation, and Social Inclusion) via online surveys (open 12 May to 23 June) and dedicated community forums.

At these forums, the community will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of experts who will provide insights and encourage evidence-based discussion about the future of North Sydney.

The community forums on social will take place in Hutley Hall at North Sydney Council Chambers on the evenings of 15 May, 22 May, 5 June, 12 June and 18 June with a different topic discussed at each forum.
