Council’s Open Air Cinema is rolling into Cromer in March, promising two fun-filled family movie nights for residents. These free family movie nights will take place under the stars at St Matthews Farm Reserve in Cromer.
Gather your family and friends for a blockbuster 2026 program: fantasy adventure How to Train Your Dragon (2025) on Friday 27 March, and high-energy animated comedy The Bad Guys 2 (2025) on Saturday 28 March. Gates open at 5.30pm with the films kicking off at 6.30pm.
You might like to take a night off from cooking and pick up some takeaway from local restaurants or you could sample some of the delicious food on offer from onsite food trucks. Alternatively, you could pack a picnic. Either way, you can relax, eat and be entertained under the twinkling stars!
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said Open Air Cinema is a very popular local community event.
“Open Air Cinema evenings are a fantastic way to bring our community together to experience two memorable evenings of entertainment,” said mayor Heins. “There’s nothing better than a night under the stars with loved ones, popcorn and a great movie.
“And to make the nights even better, the first 1,000 ticket holders through the gates each evening will receive a free bag of popcorn! Make sure you book your free ticket today.”
