More than 100 children were treated to a spectacle as an adult-sized Easter Bunny and its team of volunteers treated them to some special gifts in the spirit of Easter.

The Mounties Group has the annual tradition of spread joy to vulnerable children and young people with the Mounties Bunny Run, and this year, the Bunny Run visited four local organisations including the children’s hospice Bear Cottage; children’s support organisation Stewart House; special education school Fisher Road School in Dee Why; and the Adolescent Adult Youth Hospice in Manly.

The Mounties Bunny Run was an initiative created by a staff member back in 1991 with the goal to give back to those less abled in our community. Since then, the Run has successfully expanded across three regions.

The annual staff tradition has been held now for 32 years and sees club Directors and staff visit local disability organisations, hospices, schools and aged care facilities with the Easter Bunny and exciting themed treats and gifts.
