Willoughby City Council presented ‘Introduction to Sustainable Building’, a series of webinars to guide home builders and renovators on resilient design, sustainable building materials and water efficiency.

The initiative for prospective builders and renovators stems from the increased demand in the community to know what they can do to create homes that are resilient and responsible. The project has been brought to life in partnership with Ku-ring-gai Council, Lane Cove Council, Mosman Council, and North Sydney Council.

The series is presented by sustainable design experts Renew and will cover the principles of designing homes that can withstand the challenges of a changing climate; the world of eco-friendly materials and how to make informed choices for your project; the benefits of integrating green spaces and water-efficient solutions into home design; and assembling a team of professionals dedicated to sustainable building practices.

Renew is an organisation committed to promoting sustainable living and design practices
