Sydney’s longest running French Market will be held on the grounds of Killarney Heights Public School on Sunday 15 November 2026 from 9am to 4pm.

The market will celebrate its 20th event this year, and the community can expect a vibrant day of French food, culture, music, shopping and family entertainment.

Organised by the French-speaking Association of the North Shore (FANS), the French Market has become a much-loved annual tradition for families, Francophiles and the wider Sydney community.

For one day, more than 300 volunteer parents, students and alumni come together to transform Killarney Heights Public School into a charming French village.

Over 60 professional vendors will tempt you with French food and delicacies, quality homewares, fashion and accessories, handcrafted jewellery, gifts and more. Many products are sourced directly from France or created by French artisans.

Food lovers can enjoy a delicious selection of French favourites, from fresh croissants, crêpes and waffles to savoury treats and sweet delights, accompanied by barista-made coffee, Orangina from France, and other refreshments.

Visitors can browse the much-loved second-hand French book stall to discover hundreds of French-language titles for children and adults.

There will be entertainment for all ages, with carnival rides, traditional children’s games, and live music all day on two stages.

The French Market is the major fundraising event for FANS, the not-for-profit association that has delivered the FANS French Bilingual Program at Killarney Heights Public School for more than 25 years.

The parent-funded program provides over 560 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with the opportunity to learn the NSW curriculum through both French and English, developing strong language skills alongside a multicultural and global outlook.

Entry is free but a gold coin would be appreciated.
