The Special Works and Transformation Team (S.W.A.T) has returned, this time to launch a cleaning offensive in the central business district of Manly.

In a recent operation, the team swept, painted, gardened, and pressure-cleaned seating areas, pavers, and bins in Manly Corso, Sydney Road, and Wentworth Street.

Manly is gearing up for two significant events this month: the Taste of Manly and the Local Government NSW Destination and Visitor Economy Conference.

The Local Government NSW Destination and Visitor Economy Conference, which runs from 29 to 31 May, is a three-day event that brings together up to 250 local government staff and councillors, key industry stakeholders, and local tourism operators. The conference will be a forum for discussing insights and the ever-changing world facing future visitors.

With these two events on the horizon, it’s essential that Manly is in tip-top shape. The S.W.A.T team’s cleaning blitz will undoubtedly contribute to the area’s pristine appearance and enhance the visitor experience.
