Willoughby City Council is running ‘The Life of Trees’ photo competition for local high school students aged 12 to 18 years old until 6 June.
Students from Chatswood High School, Willoughby Girls High School, St Pius X College, Mercy Catholic College, Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School and Bradfield Senior School are invited to send their photographs celebrating the ‘The life of trees’ to the council for a chance to have their photo professionally printed and framed and a $100 JB Hi-Fi voucher.
You can take an image with your mobile phone or camera that shows a moment in that tree’s life. Chose one tree or many, or even a close-up of a tree leaf or multiple branches.
Ideally, trees are to be located within the Willoughby City Council area, but it’s not essential.
Once you have your image ready, jump online to the council website, complete a submission form and upload your image before 5pm on 6 June. Have fun and good luck.
