The countdown has begun for Manly Jazz 2024. Kicking off from 20 to 22 September the festival will see the much-anticipated return of renowned artist James Valentine to the line-up.

Hosted by Northern Beaches Council, Australia’s longest-running jazz festival will bring over 70 acts from around the globe to Manly for a vibrant three-day event.

The dynamic and diverse program celebrates the rich tradition and evolving future of jazz music with performances set to take place across 4 stages and 16 venues in Manly. Additionally, this year will see a special Jazz Garden in The Corso brought to you by local brewer Bucketty’s to keep the vibe going.

The event will kick off with legendary ABC broadcaster James Valentine and his band Upbeat making a triumphant return to the Bucketty’s Jazz Garden after a hiatus, while the Phat Brass Band will roam the streets and laneways to set the mood.

See renowned artists at the Beachfront Stage or emerging talent on the Jazz Stars of the Future Stage outside Manly Town Hall as well as the Sydney Road Stage and an indoor stage inside St Matthews Church in The Corso.

Artistic Director Caroline Speight said excitement is gathering for this much-loved event.
