The 50-metre outdoor pool at the Manly Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Aquatic Centre will soon turn 50, and the whole community is invited to celebrate on the afternoon of Saturday 15 August.
The aquatic centre will also mark 10 years, giving more cause to join in the fun.
Free swim entry will be offered from 1pm to 4pm, which is when the event will take place. Visitors can enjoy a swimming race at 2.15pm, and even book in for an aqua class at 3.30pm.
A live DJ will provide the atmosphere and other attractions will include facepainting and a fitness challenge. The indoor pool inflatable will also be up, and there will be a colouring competition running.
