Laundry Lane, a B Corp Certified video production agency in Brookvale, is partnering with the Heart Foundation to promote heart health awareness both within their company and the broader community.

As part of Laundry Lane’s commitment to fostering a heart-smart community they are setting themselves the goal of training 1,000 people in CPR within the next year. To kick off this initiative, they are inviting local residents and businesses to attend a free CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) awareness session at Freshwater Surf Club on 18 October.

This event honours Shocktober and Restart a Heart Day, a global campaign aimed at raising awareness and educating the community about CPR and AED use.

These sessions will familiarise participants with how to recognise cardiac arrest, understand CPR, and locate and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in times of emergency.

Attendees will leave equipped with the skills and confidence to act swiftly in critical moments and potentially
save lives.
