Lions Club | Balgowlah
Lions is an organisation that undertakes and supports community projects.
By joining the club, you will get to know the other members at monthly dinner meetings, where guest speakers occasionally visit.
Members participate in their fair share of community service activities, so you will need to think about your capacity to participate. As a guide, four to six hours per month is required.
As any volunteer organisation, Lions Club needs to provide services and support to its volunteers – training, insurance, promotional materials and beneficiaries, which is funded by memberships and donations.
Lions are immensely proud that they do not take public donations to cover operating costs, which is why members pay a small amount in dues.
