HammondCare continues to deliver support services to aged care clients and carers as it opens its newest respite care house, Bugari Cottage.
Being the first of its kind on the Northern Beaches, Bugari Cottage is located on a quiet backstreet of Terry Hills and offers guests who are old and frail, or living with dementia a home-away-from home.
It is understood HammondCare offers the four-bedroom respite cottage as a service to both the client and carer in need of a break, under the agreement their loved one is being well looked after by highly trained staff and expert care team.
According to HammondCare, the short-term stay also provides a tailored approach to its support service in order to meet the individual needs of each client who visits the cottage.
People eligible under the federal government-funded home care package as well as self-funded guests can now stay at Bugari Cottage whether they are an existing HammondCare client or not.
