The Northern Beaches community has banded together to save the Dee Why Lagoon and its black swans!
Worms Bees Trees (WBT) has launched its 2023 campaign ‘Save Our Swans (SOS)’ with the support of Northern Beaches Council, Lions, Dee Why Surfing Fraternity, The Queens Jubilee, Dee Why Football clubs, local businesses, and passionate residents, to save the swans and preserve the beloved lagoon.
The Lagoon Restoration project will be the first initiative of this year and will include picking up rubbish, the removal of invasive species, building a fence, and planting native species.
The invitation to participate in the campaigns is open to everyone that wants to support the efforts to keep the local environment healthy and thriving.
WBT is a business created to support and promote programs, causes, and people dedicated to protecting the environment.
