Bushcare | Mona Vale

Do you have two to three hours per month to dedicate to your local environment? Bushcare community volunteers work with Council to conserve and rehabilitate publicly owned bushland.

More than 350 volunteers work at over 50 different sites throughout the Northern Beaches. Most Bushcare groups work at set times throughout the year.

Tools, training and guidance in bush regeneration techniques and morning or afternoon tea are provided!

Bush regeneration work is manual, so volunteers should be physically fit.

The work includes weeding, planting of native species, erosion control and species management.

No experience is needed and there are activities to suit everyone.
