Marshall. Chan. Yahl. Real Estate was triumphantly surprised to hear their name called as winners of the Business of the Year Award at the 2022 North Shore Business Awards.
Although the business is still young, at just three years old, it hasn’t failed to make a positive impression on the community and the people here on the North Shore.
Managing director, Craig Marshall, says customer service is at the heart of everything they do, and that client satisfaction is the most rewarding element of the job.
“I’ve got a very strong team environment. I believe everyone is the same, I treat all of my staff the same, and I pick people who are very customer-orientated,” Mr Marshall says.
Mr Marshall says, despite the difficulties, there are many benefits to being a local business today.
“I think the thing about being a small business and the way I am operating today, compared to what it was before, is that we get to pick the best ideas, the best systems, and the best ways that we believe in, and we can deliver it to the customers.
Mr Marshall, who has been in the real estate industry for 40 years, said winning this award shows that, ‘even though you think you might retire, you can still get the energy to succeed again’.
