North Sydney Council is offering an exceptional opportunity to all artists by inviting them to apply for a year-long tenancy at the newly established Ridge Street Artists’ Studios.
Located at 43 Ridge St in the heart of North Sydney, these four newly constructed studio spaces provide artists with the ideal environment to work and create, while being conveniently situated near cafes, public transport, and Ridge Street Car Park.
This initiative is part of Council’s Artist Studio Program, which aims to support artists by providing them with a space to work on their creative projects, expand their artistic networks, and engage with the community. In return for this incredible opportunity, artists are expected to make valuable contributions to the arts and culture programs in North Sydney.
Applications are currently open for a tenancy at the Ridge Street Artists’ Studios from June 2023 until the end of May 2024. The deadline for applications is Friday 12 May. To learn more about requirements and how to apply, please visit the North Sydney Council website.
