Northern Beaches Council is proposing ‘No parking’ restrictions along some sections of Central Road, Avalon Beach.
The restrictions follow concerns raised by residents and bus operators about traffic flow and driveway access due to the narrowness of Central Road when vehicles park on both sides of this road.
These restrictions aim to improve safety and access for residents and the 192 Avalon Beach to Stokes Point bus loop service.
The Council are looking for feedback on the proposed restrictions by completing the comment form on the Northern Beaches Council website or emailing council@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au by 3 September.
All comments will be made public in the Community Engagement Report. Once all feedback has been reviewed, a report will be prepared for Council’s Local Traffic Committee, and the community will be notified of the outcome.
