A new fitness station has been installed at Muston Park, Willoughby, following feedback from local residents at a recent workshop. Now, the Willoughby City Council is seeking community input to determine whether the station should become a permanent outdoor feature and what type of equipment residents would prefer.
The options include strength, balance, and cardio or aerobic equipment, as proposed by the council. While feedback is being gathered, a temporary fitness station has been set up.
Muston Park is located at the intersection of Hawkesbury Sandstone and Wianamatta Shale soils. It currently features a fenced inclusive playground with swings, a basket swing, a rocketship with slides, sensory elements, a water pump, a sandpit, a Mars rover, and a trike track.
Submissions are open until 24 November.
