Sydney Wildlife | Home-based

Sydney Wildlife is looking to expand its wildlife rescue hotline and is inviting community members to become volunteers.

Tasks will include taking calls from people who have found a native animal requiring assistance and organising a rescuer. This can be undertaken from either the rescue office in the Lane Cove National Park or carried out at the volunteer’s home.

Shifts run for four hours, and training is provided by an experienced rescue coordinator.

Volunteers will need to have access to a computer or laptop, an internet connection and a phone.
