Early bird entries are now open for the Sun Run, set to take place on Saturday 31 January. This annual event, delivered by Northern Beaches Council, is open to people of all fitness levels.

Participants can challenge themselves to a 7km or 10km fun run along the spectacular Northern Beaches coastline from Dee Why to Manly Beach.

Mayor Sue Heins is encouraging people to take advantage of the early bird offer for Sun Run, with 10,000 people expected to join in next year’s event.

“Sun Run is a highlight on the Northern Beaches calendar and early registration is strongly encouraged,” Mayor Sue Heins said. “The popular event has sold out for the past three years, so register early to ensure you don’t miss out.”

Early bird entries are now open, and participants can save up to $20 if they register before Thursday 20 November.

The 10km race starts at 6.30am, followed by the 7km at 7.30am. The Sun Run aims to raise $100,000 for charities across Australia.
