Warringah Independent MP Zali Steggall will host an expert panel on housing issues on Wednesday, 2 October, at 6.30pm at the Balgowlah RSL.
At the Community Forum on Tackling Housing Affordability and Accessibility Issues, you will hear from a panel of experts as they discuss the current housing situation in Warringah and possible solutions.
Key topics up for discussion will be housing affordability, what can be done to address the housing shortage, long-term solutions for the housing crisis and the challenges in creating affordable housing, such as tax reforms, where front-line workers live and Local Government Areas expectations.
Panellists include Louise Kerr, Director of Planning and Place, Northern Beaches Council; Matt Grudnoff, Senior Economist, The Australia Institute; and Maiy Azize, Deputy Director from Anglicare Australia and spokesperson for Everybody’s Home.
