MWP Care are seeking caring and dependable people to become volunteer shopping assistants to help their clients with their shopping.
MWP Care was established and built by volunteers and volunteering is an essential part of what they do.
They offer two services for shopping: an escorted service where you would collect the client from their home and accompany them to the shops and assist where required, and ‘Shop by List’ service which involved collecting a shopping list from the client, do their shopping and return and assist with unpacking if required.
Shopping involves a maximum of two hours per week and volunteers are reimbursed 76c/km for their travel costs.
