MWP Care is looking for people who are helpful, reliable, respectful and fun to join their wonderful team of volunteers who assist clients with their shopping.
The organisation offers two services for shopping. The first is an escorted shopping service, which involves collecting the client from their home, accompanying them to the shops and assisting where required. The second is a shop-by-list service which involves collecting the shopping list from the client’s house, doing their shopping for them and helping them to unpack it if required.
Shopping involves a maximum of two hours, and volunteers are reimbursed 76c per kilometre for their travel costs.
