Royal Far West announced on 3 April Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, the Governor General of Australia, as its new patron. Her Excellency brings with her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to social justice and equality.
Royal Far West CEO, Jacqui Emery, said, “We are excited and honoured to welcome the Governor-General as the new Patron of Royal Far West. Her passion for social justice and equality aligns perfectly with our mission of improving the health and wellbeing of children who live in rural and remote communities. Her patronage is especially significant given Royal Far West is celebrating 100 years of service to country kids this year, highlighting our longevity and dedication to improving the lives of country children.”
The Governor-General said, “I am delighted to accept the invitation to serve as Royal Far West’s new Patron. The Governor General joins Her Excellency, Hon Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of NSW, as Joint Patron of Royal Far West.
