Sydney Harbour fireworks
North Head
9pm and midnight
If you want to see the fireworks in the city but don’t like the idea of getting there, why not watch them from North Head? The best vantage point is 1.8km from the gate, with no vehicle access on New Year’s Eve, so visitors need to be able to walk the distance.
Get there early and watch the sunset with a picnic dinner.
