Police are re-appealing for information as investigations continue into alleged fraud offences across Sydney.

Officers have been told the alleged offenders took money from a number of people after claiming to be psychics, and it’s believed that those involved have been committing offences in the greater Sydney area since as early as 2006.

Following inquiries, a woman, aged 48, and a man, aged 50, were arrested on 8 August. Both remain before the courts.

Police have also appealed to identify a third woman they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The woman is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, believed to be aged in her 40s, about 150cm tall, large build and speaks with a Romanian accent.

Following further investigations, about 9,30am on 6 November, police executed a search warrant at a storage unit in Victoria Ave, Chatswood.

During the search, officers located and seized a number of items for forensic examination, including antique statues, an antique sword, crystal ball and WW2 collectors’ memorabilia, including a suitcase and a firearm magazine.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information about the woman is urged to contact Campsie Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
