Four arrests and one person injured were the result of a violent public brawl between youths in Manly on 21 January.

Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended multiple emergency calls that were made around 5.30pm when two groups of youths became involved in an altercation near a reserve at West Esplanade, Manly.

According to reports, around ten youths were involved in the incident, and one of them was allegedly injured in the face with a knife. The wounded was reportedly taken by a NSW Ambulance to Northern Beaches Hospital in stable condition.

Reports indicate the youths fled the scene upon the Police’s arrival. Police located three other youths nearby at The Corso and took them to Manly Police Station for further inquiries.

The incident is under investigation.
