The Northern Beaches Council is currently exploring ways to preserve and enhance the North Steyne Surf Club for the benefit of the community.
The council wants to ensure that the club continues to grow as a valued surf life-saving institution and that the public space meets the entire community’s diverse needs while balancing the site’s significant constraints, including heritage significance and coastal hazards.
The community is invited to share thoughts on possible future improvements for the surf club by completing an online survey.
The survey will allow each community member 200 points to allocate to project priorities: heritage significance, facilities, equitable access and functionality.
Residents can complete a survey by visiting yoursay.northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au before 29 October.
