The Nurtured Village Hampers | Avalon
The Nurtured Village Hampers aims to prevent maternal mental health disorders and is looking for volunteers to help coordinate hampers locally.
The hampers are collections of donated home-cooked meals, non-perishables, essential baby items and small gifts. These hampers are gifted to local mothers navigating hardship as a way of creating a community for local mums, making that hamper recipient feel seen and supported.
Volunteer tasks include looking after a private Facebook group; assisting in marketing to local businesses; organising events for local mums; and promoting the collection of items for the hampers.
