North Sydney Council aims to achieve the targets set out in its Environmental Sustainability Strategy 2030 to decarbonise the community and assist residents to live more sustainably.
One of its plans includes a sustainability rebate scheme to assist residents and businesses in the area to reduce their carbon footprint. It will investigate opportunities to provide residential and business rebates for energy conservation and renewable energy.
Council is seeking community feedback regarding which rebates would be most beneficial to plan the program effectively.
By completing all the questions on the survey during the giveaway period (up to 5 June), participants can enter a draw to win one of five $50 vouchers. The prize winners will be randomly drawn on 12 June.
The survey closes on 5 June.
