Free and fun activities might be closer than you think. Willoughby Library in Chatswood and Stanton Library in North Sydney are great options to entertain your kids during this school holiday. Family story time, painting, and craft workshops are some of the many activities the libraries have planned.

Stanton Library has activities from 3 to 30 July, finishing with a Sunday afternoon of tabletop games for the whole family. Bookings are recommended, but drop-ins are welcome.

Willoughby Library will have activities for kids from three to 12 years old, focusing on celebrating Australia’s First Nations, including story time and craft workshops to make Indigenous-inspired art and crafts.

Chatswood Youth Centre

If you are looking for fun activities for your teens this winter, look no further, as the Chatswood Youth Centre will be waiting for them.

For ages 12 to 18, the doors will be open for anyone that would like to relax with tropical summery vibes, while making a simple and easy acrylic painting on a mini canvas and enjoying some yummy mocktails.

The centre will also provide a nutritious lunch, fruit platter and snacks for all the attendees.

The event will take place on 6 July, from 10:30am to 1:30pm and costs $11.90.
