Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of two bodies at a Forestville property on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to a home on Cannons Parade at approximately 9:30pm on Wednesday, 11 June, after receiving reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended the property and located the bodies of a man, believed to be in his 40s, and a woman, believed to be in her 50s, in a granny flat at the rear of the premises. The pair are yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established, and detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad are assisting with ongoing inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
