Mito Foundation | Palm Beach

The Mito Foundation is relying on generous volunteers to enable The Bloody Long Walk to take place on 4 August. The annual event, a 35 kilometre walk from Palm Beach to Manly, raises funds to help find a cure for Mitochondrial disease.

Whether you are studying event management or fundraising, know someone who is doing the walk or you have a connection to Mito, this is a great event to get involved with!

Volunteers can choose roles such as check-in assistant, participant marshal, checkpoint assistant, cheer crew or fundraising rewards distribution.

Most volunteer shifts are up to four hours and over 50 volunteers are needed on the day. Volunteers receive a T-shirt and hat.
