Music lovers are in for a treat with the return of the Northern Beaches Music Festival to Narrabeen.

The Northern Beaches Music Festival is back on 4 and 5 November at the Tramshed Community Centre and Berry Reserve, Narrabeen.

Running successfully since 2011, with a COVID-19 hiatus in 2020 and 2021, this not-for-profit community music festival promises to be a ripper, with 50 acts performing across five stages over the weekend.

The line up for the festival includes performances from Cameron Daddo and the Paisley Prophets, The Mezcaltones, Shane Flew, Dead Mellow, Luke Escombe, Mic Conway and Robbie Long and The Fallen Robbins.

Three ticketed stages within the community centre, the Lakeview stage, the Berry stage and the Tramshed stage, will have performances from midday to 11pm on Saturday, and midday to 9pm on Sunday.

The festival village of world food will provide music lovers with an endless supply of tasty food with everything from a Nepalese curry to Serbian wraps.

And there’s always time for a little shopping, with a wide variety of merchandise stalls selling a wide range of clothing and other merchandise. Kids will be entertained too with face- painting and circus acts to watch.

Seven music venues on the Northern Beaches support the festival: The Shack, Humph Hall, The Fig, Fairlight Folk, Music Lounge, Sons on Stage and Northern Beaches Radio.

The aim of the weekend is to generate a sense of belonging while enjoying a live music event, giving local musicians performance opportunities and an income, and to reach out and include the diverse community on the Beaches.

And this year’s Northern Beaches Music Festival will certainly have the community singing and dancing, swinging and swaying and all weekend. So kick up your heels, let down your hair, forget all your cares and dance all weekend.
