Honour the ANZAC spirit for Australian servicemen and women
Every ANZAC Day, Australians come together to remember those who have served and given their lives protecting our nation in every conflict since World War I. Current members of the Australian Navy, Army and Airforce are also honoured.

ANZAC Day commemorates the day in 1915 when Australian and New Zealand troops landed at what is now called ANZAC Cove on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey.
The anniversary has been marked every year since then, in times of peace and war, wherever Australians and New Zealanders are gathered at home or abroad. It is a time for solemn reflection and to express gratitude to those who have served, and continue to serve in war, conflict and peacekeeping operations.
Community members are invited to show the ANZAC Spirit by flying Australian flags at half-mast, baking ANZAC biscuits and sticking poppies on their letter box to show support.
