Manly Warringah Pittwater Community Care (MWP Care) is looking for volunteers who are helpful, empathetic, reliable, respectful and fun to assist clients with their shopping.
Two shopping services are offered: an escorted service that involves collecting the client from their home, accompanying them to the shops and assisting where required; and a shop-by-list service that consists of collecting the shopping list from the client’s house, doing their shopping and returning and assisting with unpacking if needed.
Shopping involves a maximum of two hours and volunteers are reimbursed 76c/km for their travel costs.
