If you haven’t got Christmas organised yet, fear not. Warringah Bowls has everything you need to make this Christmas season a cracker.

Warringah Bowls is kicking off the festive season with Carols on the Green on 22 December, an evening that will fill everyone, young and old, with the joy of Christmas.

A local choir will lead the carol singing, and the club encourages people to bring LED candles to add to the atmosphere.

There will be lots to delight the little ones, including a snow machine.

“And a couple of face painters for the kids,” said general manager Liarne Peek. “And glow sticks, as the kids love those.” Santa will visit with lolly bags for the children.

Delicious food options include a beautiful Christmas picnic pack, which you can order from the club in advance.

“Families can enjoy some tasty Christmas ham, fresh bread rolls; a cold Christmas picnic to eat on the green,” said Liarne.

Patrons can also reserve a table at Rolly’s Bistro or enjoy some brisket, smoked onsite on a big American smoker.

“And we will have party drinks!” Liarne said. “We’ll have cocktails, spritzers, seltzers, beer, and everything else. And juice and cordial or course.”

The club is running a big raffle this year, with tickets on sale from 1 December.

“We have over $6,500 worth of prizes,” said Liarne. “There will be iPads, barbecues, toys, homewares, hams, turkeys and Christmas hampers.”
