Do you have a special talent? Here’s your chance to shine as Manly Library hosts an Open Mic Night on 22 August.
Performers are encouraged to showcase their original works of song, poetry, storytelling, impressions or comedy. Performers will have up to 10 minutes on stage, with a bell ringing at the 9 minute mark; while singers have a maximum of two songs up to 10 minutes.
Those taking part must be 16 years or older, but all are welcome to sit in the audience and enjoy the show.
The community are invited to sign up from 5pm at the library, with the entertainment starting at 5.30pm.
Further Open Mic Nights will be held on 19 September and 24 October.
