Willoughby City Council is planning to upgrade the Sutherland Park playground in Chatswood and invites community feedback on the Draft Playground Improvements Plan.
Community feedback on the plan will contribute to the development of the final Playground Improvement Plan and ensure that the playground meets the needs of the community and all those who use the facility in the future.
The renewal comes under the council’s Open Space Asset Management Plan, and some proposed improvements include a new swing set, a play structure with two slides and a twister board and a new accessible table to replace the picnic table.
New rubber and mulch softfalls and an accessible bubbler and water bottle refill are also included.
The existing spinner is to be retained along with the exercise station.
You can have a look at the plans and comment in the survey before 9am on 6 May by visiting haveyoursaywilloughby.com.au.
