Seniors Festival kicks off on the North Shore
Celebrate our older community members at the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival from 3 to 16 March with the theme ‘Time to Shine.’
The Premier’s Gala Concerts and the Seniors Festival Expo will take place at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour on 12 and 13 March, but there are plenty of local seniors events.

The Dance Party at Mosman Art Gallery is a popular soiree that is not to be missed! The biggest social event in the Mosman Seniors Festival calendar is the perfect chance to round up friends, dig out your dancing shoes, dress to impress in sparkles, silver or gold and show off your moves to the music of DJ Eric.

Playgroups are not only for toddlers! Children up to age five – bring Nanna or Pop to a special North Sydney playgroup for some fun activities.
Grandparents can socialise while you play on the trampoline. There’s a sing-along, story time and creative craft, along with an outdoor area and sandpit.
Tell Nanna to bring morning tea and keep Pops out of the sandpit! You’ll need to book.

Round off the Seniors Festival in style with a sumptuous lunch and entertainment at the Mosman Seniors Centre.
Live music will be provided by singer, songwriter and wonderful entertainer Joanna Weinberg.

Tune up those vocal cords, grab the mic and belt out some tunes at Chatswood Library’s open mic event. It’s your time to shine, whether you’re new to performing or a seasoned entertainer. Or you might just want to sit back and enjoy the show.
Take a trip down memory lane and relive the magic of classic songs with fellow music lovers. You’ll get 10 minutes to belt out your favourite tune. Microphones, music stands, a guitar amp and musical instruments, including a keyboard and a guitar, are supplied – just bring your voice!
