Australian football team, CommBank Pararoos, received United States of America (USA) at Cromer Park on Saturday 4 February, home of Manly Warringah Football Association.

The national team played out an exciting 0-0 draw in front of 1,027 fans, in a match that marked their first international encounter on home soil in three years and the second home fixture since Sydney 2000.

Although the game ended scoreless, the crowd enjoyed and applauded the CommBank Pararoos’ effort against one of the international powerhouses of CP Football.

After the game, coach Kai Lammert said this was one of the best performances of the team in over 20 years.

“For us, this is just the start. It’s exciting, we have so many young boys coming through and these boys are doing an awesome job.”
