Independent Federal Member for North Sydney, Kylea Tink, will host a panel discussion and Q&A session on 16 May to discuss the upcoming Voice Referendum.
The Voice Referendum will allow Australians to vote on whether they believe the Constitution should be amended to recognise First Nations people as the original inhabitants of the land and to provide them with a constitutionally protected “Voice to Parliament”.
To encourage informed discussions in North Sydney, the panel will consist of Professor Megan Davis and Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus KC MP. Attendees will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the Voice Referendum and share their thoughts on this matter.
This event is an opportunity for the people of North Sydney to learn directly from experts and ask questions regarding the referendum. The session will take place at Norths Cammeray on 16 May from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
