Three new buildings have been handed over to be used by Chatswood Public School and Chatswood High School.
The constructions are part of the $250 million redevelopment of the Chatswood Public School and Chatswood High School delivered by the NSW Government.
Member for Willoughby Tim James was joined by Minister for Education and Early Learning Sarah Mitchell on a tour of the new buildings.
“Every public school in the Willoughby electorate has been upgraded and two new schools will be built as part of the Liberal’s commitment to invest in our future and deliver a quality education for our next generation,” Mr James said.”
The new structures for both schools provided students with new general and specialist learning spaces and were designed to include sustainable features.
The NSW Government is investing $8.6 billion in school infrastructure over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver 160 new and upgraded schools across NSW.
The upgrades are on track for completion in late 2023.
