The famous first ferry stop over to the Northern Beaches is now up for grabs for keen buyers as Manly Wharf goes on the market for an estimated $80 million.

Built in 1855 as a passenger terminal, the popular spot is currently home to iconic Sydney eateries including, The Wharf Bar, Sake, Queen Chow, El Camino and the Bavarian Bier Café.

While Transport for NSW owns the original lease on Manly Wharf, Robert Magid of Magid’s TMG Developments acquired the long-term leasehold in 1995.

Under TMG ownership, and with a $9 million facelift around eight years ago, the once rundown Wharf was transformed over the years to the premier waterfront and entertainment destination it is today.

With around 2.5 million commuters and day trippers visiting the Wharf every year, and the site’s captive customers, the sale of the iconic Northern Beaches location is expected to spark interest from a range of buyers.
