Overflowing public bins across Manly have raised concerns to the community, due to the large piles of rubbish accumulating and overflowing in the area.

With an influx of visitors coming to the Northern Beaches, it is understood council have not been able to keep up with the public discarding their rubbish.

Some public bins have been seen so full, it has caused rubbish to spill onto the ground or be taken by seagulls.

As Manly is due to get busier heading into the school holidays, locals are being urged to notify council, should anyone see a bin that needs emptying.
