A man is assisting police with inquiries after a body was found in Dee Why about 7am on 15 July.
Emergency services were called to Ilikai Place, Dee Why, following reports of a body in a carpark.
Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended and found a 40-year-old man deceased.
Police established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Around 12.30pm, a man believed to be 37 years old was arrested at a unit on Ilikai Place.
The man has been taken to Manly Police Station and is assisting with inquiries.
