Northern Beaches Council is seeking feedback from the community to develop its Championing Diversity – Multicultural Inclusion Plan.
The plan outline strategies to make the Northern Beaches a more welcoming and inclusive place for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Council will seek the opinion of community members from culturally diverse backgrounds to understand their experiences on the Northern Beaches and what would contribute to a sense of connection and belonging.
Hosting a workshop, attending a pop-up session, or chatting directly with the Council, are the channels of participation available to allow multicultural communities to present the best ways to support, empower and advocate alongside them.
The draft for the Multicultural Inclusion Plan will be ready for public exhibition in September this year.
The initial community consultation will be open until 7 May 2023.
